Team Lead, Finance Investment Operations

about the job

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance, leading a team of 5 in daily investment operations, investment accounting, and investment reporting related works
  • Monitor daily cash movements, reconcile subsidiary ledgers, manage collateral placements and margin calls, prepare fund performance reports
  • Prepare ILP subscriptions, redemption, unit pricing, expense ratio monitoring, performance returns, and policyholder's report
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly investment reports including risk charge calculations for MAS, CPF, head office, etc.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on investments, ILP, and tax related issues


Skills and experience required

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or any professional accounting certifications (CA/CPA/ACCA)
  • At least 6-8 years of investment accounting/investment operations/investment reporting experience in the insurance or the financial services industry, with at least 3 years of team management experience
  • You should be a self-starter, a problem solver, and possess the ability to work with senior stakeholders
