Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is about to go through a massive business transformation including an IPO. They are growing the finance team to support this growth & development, and are looking to hire some top calibre finance talent.

The Role

This Senior Financial Accountant role reports to the Financial Controller and is responsible for:

• Financial reporting in accordance to accounting standards including AASB 15 & 16
• Upgrading the financial reporting to meet ASX listing standards
• Working on reports for the IPO stakeholders/investor presentations 
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting. The CFO is happy to train someone who hasn’t had much experience in this area.
• Preparation and coordination of the group's Annual Report and Interim Financial Report in line with applicable listing requirements
• Providing support and reviewing the junior team members work

Your Background

To be considered as a potential candidate for this role we are looking for candidates who:

• Are fully CA or CPA qualified
• Have worked in an ASX listed business and are familiar with the reporting requirements
• Have notable achievements on their resume, working on value-add projects for a business
• Are strong Financial Accountants
• Have excellent communication skills
