Job description
Overall job purpose
We are looking for an experienced supervisor/assistant manager who has up to date and a strong experience of managing a portfolio of smaller clients. The post holder will report to a Manager who will retain overall operational responsibility. This role will focus on the planning of audit assignments, team supervision, file reviews and report drafting in addition to attending the Audit Committee. Work delivery and client meetings will be hybrid in line with Risk Assurance guidance..

Responsibilities
- You will deliver formal high level assignments with a team member, normally at a graduate level.
- You will plan assignments, complete files and reports, and be trained to file review and report review in line with our audit manual to ensure quality control.
- You will attend Audit Committee on a periodic basis for assigned clients with the Manager and/or Partner.
- You will have line management responsibility for at least 2 people.
- You will undertake billing and provisions under supervision of the Manager for each client assigned.

- Will be articulate, professional and personal.
- Will be a good communicator and have excellent listening skills.
- Will have strong oral and verbal reasoning in respect of quality control.
- Will be able to take responsibility for completed tasks.
- Will be a good team player.
- Will be passionate about internal audit as a career.
Essential
- Qualified, with at least 5 years experience.
- Full UK Driving License
- Have a career Internal Auditor.
- Line Management Experience.
- Audit Committee experience and presenting reports.
Desirable
- Experience with tender presentations.
- Managed a full portfolio of clients with limited supervision.
