Your Mission

We are currently looking for German Speaking Senior Manager/Director to deliver services to and further develop our German clientele.

With a background in audit (external and/or internal) and control, and a good understanding of the financial sector, you will need to be ambitious and enthusiastic. In return we will give the opportunity to work in the fast paced world of internal audit and internal control.

As an experienced professional (m/f), you will namely:

  • Manage a portfolio of internal audit and internal control clients, which includes building effective strategic relationships with clients and non-executives.
  • Help clients deliver their annual audit plan either by enabling them to fully outsource their function or by using us as a co-source partner, on a range of governance, risk, regulatory, operational and financial activities, within set deadlines.
  • Build an internal network of relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop, manage and scope SME led reviews in areas of specialism such as Cyber, Operational Resilience, Cloud computing, Governance etc.
  • Manage teams, including planning, budget management and periodic reporting to clients, as well as wider day-to-day engagement delivery.
  • Work on developing the Internal Audit and Internal Control proposition alongside a supportive group of Partners – by developing innovative, market leading solutions and proposals.
  • Advise clients on developing their Internal Audit strategy and providing assistance in setting up functions.
  • Transform existing functions to ensure that they are truly relevant, cost effective and risk focused.
  • Deliver training to our teams and clients on a variety of relevant topics, including emerging Internal Audit methodology, regulatory themes and industry issues.
  • Proactively develop technical knowledge through self-study, training, qualifications and industry reading.

Your profile

  • You have around 10 years of experience in audit (external and / or internal) and / or internal control
  • You are fluent in English and German
  • You have a risk / control mindset
  • You have a good knowledge of the Luxembourgish market and regulatory environment
  • You have a passion for delivering value and insight to clients through Internal Audit & Internal Control services.
  • You have strong analytical and engagement management skills.
  • You have the ability to work effectively in different teams for varying periods of time, building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levels.
  • You have strong focus on quality and the ability to produce high quality well written reports.
  • You are experience in providing coaching and feedback for junior staff and identifying development opportunities to build upon the strengths of team members.
  • You have developed your network in Luxembourg, specifically on the German speaking community
