The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide value-added financial support to the group’s Head of Commercial Finance with respect to financial projections, performance management and decision support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning

  • Supporting the production of zero-based, bottom-up and annual Budgets including:
  • Assisting with the annual Budget cycle in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensuring a consistent approach and quality across all geographies and functions
  • Building integrated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements
  • Developing all staff costs at the level of individual heads by month with all associated costs
  • Supporting 3 quarterly, in-year, rolling 15-month re-forecasts at a similar level of detail as the annual budget.

Performance Management

  • Working with the Head of Group Commercial Finance, other senior managers in the team, and finance peers to develop continually improving business reporting.
  • Supporting the development of a suite of KPIs and Dashboards that reliably explain the financial performance of the group.

Other Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Head of Group Commercial Finance, other senior managers in the team, and finance peers to provide value-added financial support to management decision making on general commercial matters, including but not limited to:
  • Leveraging the Pricing Tool to monitor and manage client, country, line of business, team and product profitability,
  • Assessing new product and market opportunities,
  • Assisting the sales team in the development and maintenance of detailed, quantitative sales pipeline systems and reports.
  • Foster the development of appropriate financial disciplines, and develop financial new capabilities through tools, automation and process efficiencies
  • Collaborate with peers, and across Finance, on cross-team projects and efficiency initiatives

Your Profile:

  • You have 1-3 years + relevant professional experience
  • You hold a University degree in Accounting or in the final stages of ACCA
  • You show a significant commercial acumen and awareness
  • You have good organisational, communication and time management skills
  • You are able to work autonomously, whilst fostering team engagement
  • You are fluent in English
