Senior Financial Accountant (ACA Qualified)

Unique opportunity for a high calibre ACA Qualified accountant to gain significant exposure to a dynamic finance team in an iconic global sports entertainment business.

Role is based just outside of London in Biggin Hill (near Orpington, Sevenoaks, Bromley), accessible from Kent, Surrey and Sussex, although a Car would be beneficial as the location is not on a main trainline.

My client is an iconic global sports entertainment business revolving around the world's most widely watched annual global sporting competition.

In turn they are owned by a US based, NASDAQ listed entity, with a range of businesses which are primarily engaged in the media, entertainment and communications industries globally.

Description

The successful candidate for this Financial Accountant role will work within a team where their responsibilities will include the following:

• Assistance with structured group month-end close.
• To act as primary support for the accounting function of certain subsidiaries.
• Monthly consolidation of group companies.
• Involvement in the budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries/functions.
• Preparation of client assistant package for auditors.
• Liaison with auditors.
• Ad hoc projects.

Profile

The candidate who secures this role will:

• Be ACA Qualified, having completed training with a top ranked firm.
• Have an impressive academic background
• Have exposure to multi-currency consolidations and large group structures
• Be a proficient user of Excel
• Have excellent IFRS skills (US GAAP knowledge would be an advantage!)
