About the Role

My client is an established financial institution who deliver a wide range of services including fund administration and accounting, trusteeship and intermediary services.

The Senior Corporate Accountant will take the lead in all corporate accounting requirements for the Group, working closely with the CFO and interacting with various senior stakeholders.

The Corporate Accountant will support the Corporate Finance Manager in the delivery of timely and accurate monthly consolidated results including accounting entries and accompanying analysis, month end reconciliations, monitoring of management business financials, and partnering with finance and the commercial business to provide insights to key senior stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference with your active engagement in strategic projects and initiatives that may arise from time to time.

Key Requirements

You will be CA/CPA qualified, ideally a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience, and either be making your first move from an Audit firm (big 4 or second tier) or currently be in a similar group accounting role within a large complex organisation. Strong technical skills around consolidations and the preparation of financial statements are key, as is a driven mentality, ability to see the bigger picture, and stakeholder management skills.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous financial and management accounting experience within a financial services organisation and have an interest in this industry. There is the scope for this role to develop into a 2IC and and take on further value-add activities down the line.
