As a part of this, we are building a world-class audit team to give assurance over our customs operations.
We are hiring a Snr IT auditor (Data analytics). The focus of this team is to validate the correct design and operation of internal controls for customs related risks, recommend improvements corrective actions and utilize RCA (risk control assessment) mechanism to close loop on the identified defects. The Audit lead will work directly with B2C program teams, Amazon Air, Global Mile Tech Teams, Transport Tech Teams and external broker Tech Teams.
The Snr IT Audit Manager is expected to design and implement automated audits. The main responsibilities are:
1. Data Ingestions and setup activities such as data mapping, validation, building data pipelines.
2. Developing queries, dashboards and using Quickside, Qlik and similar data.
3. Data governance, validating accuracy and completeness of data ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
Key job responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Proven years of experience in at least one of the following:
Audit, assurance and risk management preferable from big 4 background or customs compliance experience in a brokerage or customs office.
Understanding of risk and control frameworks and processes including design and implementation of controls and performing control assessments and control testing.
Advanced SQL and data analytics skills.
Knowledge of Computer Assisted Audits Techniques
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualified customs broker or customs agent or Qualified Audit
Risk Management or audit professional qualification such as IRM, CISA, IIA or similar risk and control qualifications.
Experience in working in a highly metrics driven environment.
Experience in auditing third party vendors.
Experience in vetting and risk management.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and processes.
