Assistant Accountant - UK Manufacturing Company (Up to 20k)

A UK MNC is currently seeking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for daily AR, AP and necessary bookkeeping in their Hong Kong office. The successful applicant will be offered great MNC exposure and attractive bonus package.

Our client is a listed UK listed IT Manufacturing company who is expanding their business in APAC. They have over 20 years of history with 15 offices across the globe. They are now seeking for a new joiner to work in a fast-pace environment to cope with their future business development plan.

Description

• Responsible for posting and processing the AR/AP
• Responsible for invoice processing
• Responsible for bank payment proposal
• Responsible for checking the Individual Expense Claim
• Support AR specialist in preparing AR reports such as AR
• weekly report, dunning report
• Responsible for Petty Cash Custody
• Support in preparing the weekly liquidity report and
• monthly liquidity report
• Responsible for updating the Time Deposit Summary
• Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation
• Responsible for fixed assets registered
• Responsible for voucher filing of the accounting team
• Support in journal entries posting

Profile

• Good understanding of accounting principles and practice
• good with numbers and figures
• Type and length of experience required for the position:
• At least 1 ‐ 2 years of experience in accounting
• Further skills and competencies required:
• Ability to work well in team environment, flexibility
• Fluent in English, mandarin
• good knowledge of MS office and familiar with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP ) will be an advantage
