Due to the company's rapid expansion, we are looking to further grow our Finance Team which forms part of our Support Operations Centre, located between Bristol and Bath.

About the role: This permanent role sits within the UK & I Team and is reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager and working closely with our Operational teams and our surgeries to proactively identify issues and opportunities to drive the profitability and efficiency of the group.The post holder will be responsible for supporting our Operations team with ad hoc reporting requests and insights as well as the creation of reports from data sets in Excel or Power BI to answer questions posed by the operational teams.The responsibilities will involve supporting weekly trade calls with regular report creation and query resolution and creating and maintaining reporting for project owners monitoring their performance against plans.What are we looking for?
  • Clear communication of complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Part qualified in professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Must have at previous commercial finance experience
  • Must have analytical experience and the ability to turn financial data into useful Insights
  • Analysis needs to be effective and targeted with investigative approach to accounting
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment - flexibility is key
  • Excellent IT skills including intermediate/advanced Excel, Power BI knowledge, proficient Powerpoint and confident on various management reporting systems
  • Detailed understanding of financial processes to be able to identify issues and

  • Strong attention to detail and able to deliver 'right-first-time' results quickly without getting lost in the detail
  • Deadline-focused and willing to put in the effort required to ensure they always meet them
  • Understanding of small companies and how they work, but needs big company background to understand/suggest best practice principles and help to drive change
  • A questioning mind; this person should always be looking for where improvements can be made
  • Comfortable working within a clinical environment and with varying stakeholder personalities where compassion is a requirement
  • Ability to successfully influence the surgeries and other colleagues in Support
  • Operations Centre in a compassionate manner but that still delivers key messages and results.
  • Will need to be happy travelling with occasional overnight stays
