Due to the company's rapid expansion, we are looking to further grow our Finance Team which forms part of our Support Operations Centre, located between Bristol and Bath.

About the role: This is an interim role for 12 months, with the potential to become permanent and as part of the UK & I Team. The role will be reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance UK and Europe and working closely with the UK CFO, our Operational teams and surgeries providing regular reporting, proactively identifying issues and opportunities to drive the profitability and efficiency of the function and Group.

The post holder will Line Manage a team of three Assistant Commercial Finance Analysts supporting the UK business with regular reporting, business partnering operational regions and ad hoc reporting as required. Responsibility will include the production of month-end reporting delivered to deadline, supporting the team to ensure their deliverables are on time and to the required standard. The post holder will business partner for the Scotland, NI and IoM region with provision of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis

What are we looking for?

• Clear communication of complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong academically - educated to degree level and professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
• Must have previous commercial finance experience in a large company
• Must have analytical experience and the ability to turn financial data into useful Insights
• Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment - flexibility is key
• Excellent IT skills including intermediate/advanced Excel, Power BI, proficient

PowerPoint and confident on various management reporting systems

• Detailed understanding of financial processes to be able to identify issues and opportunities
• Strong attention to detail and able to deliver 'right-first-time' results quickly without getting lost in the detail
• Deadline-focused and willing to put in the effort required to ensure they always meet them
• Understanding of small companies and how they work, but needs big company background to understand/suggest best practice principles and help to drive change
• A questioning mindset: this person should always be looking to challenge existing processes and systems to drive efficiency
• Comfortable working within a clinical environment and with varying stakeholder personalities where compassion is a requirement
• Ability to successfully influence the surgeries and other colleagues in Support Operations Centre in a compassionate manner but that still delivers key messages and results.
• Will need to be happy travelling with occasional overnight stays as the group national
