Head of Internal Audit

Head of Internal Audit wanted for city centre based role Hugely exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Audit accountant to become part of a fast paced team within a very successful indigenous operation. The role carries a large amount of influence within the operation and requires an in individual that can command this level of responsibility and also who is looking to grow and develop within the organisation. Your Role: Provide analysis on Risk assurance with a view to continuously improving practices. Liaise with senior management of various business and corporate departments to address all risk and control issues Direct international shared services audit activities Ensure that all process are being completed on time and to the standard required Liaise with the CFO on financial planning, forecasting and budgeting Develop and take responsibility of processes for internal controls Run key department activities important to a highly effective internal audit function Your Skills: A minimum of 10 years of audit experience A Finance or Accounting degree ACA or ACCA or Internal Audit equivalent Highly experienced with SOX A working knowledge of basic information technology risks and control concepts International Experience advantageous Working knowledge of the UK Governance Code Strong reporting and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Strong relationship building skills The Next Step for you: Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Turlough Considine from Next Generation Recruitment at All applications will be considered and responded to in full.
