We’re looking for an experienced Project/Contract Accountant who can fulfil the project accounting and cost reporting requirements of a major contract, including day-to-day interface with management, event directors, client and contractors.
What will I be doing?

We’re looking for an experienced Project/Contract Accountant who can fulfil the project accounting and cost reporting requirements of a major contract, including day-to-day interface with management, event directors, client and contractors.
What will I be doing?
- Managing the contract from a financial and legal perspective, providing regular financial forecast, ensuring that billing is completed, suppliers are managed and cash is collected in line with the agreed terms.
- Reporting on any risk arising or material deviations from the process as agreed in the contract
- Maintaining a live schedule of all contracts across the agencies and to work with the account management teams to ensure optimisation of the agreed terms.
- Owning a framework process for handling all contracts
- Ensuring that the group are up to date with the latest developments in the contractual negotiation
- Maintaining project-related records, including contracts and change orders
- Reviewing supplier invoices/purchase order with Event Director’s for approval
- Ensuring Timesheet compliance for anyone working on the contract.
- Reviewing and reporting overhead spend/variances to the Operational Director and MD
- Investigating project variances and submit variance reports to the Event Director’s & OPS Director
- Reporting on project profitability and any opportunities for additional billings to management
- Maintaining complete project files, including trades, subs and vendors for the entire duration of the project
- Experience working within an Agency or consultancy, preferably in a similar position or in financial procurement or commercial roles
- Alternatively, experience of working in the marketing or communications sector, or in the client service environment
- A self-starter with strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience of working as part of a larger
- Highly experienced at presenting ideas both written and orally.
