Treasury Modelling and Platforms journey started 10 years ago in Singapore and Hong Kong, we then rapidly expanded to the Western hemisphere with successful build-up of the Warsaw Hub. Warsaw has recently become our new headquarters housing 90% of the team including management roles relocated from Singapore. Our team is truly diversified, English speaking and closely collaborates with teams globally.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a talented individual to play a frontline role, who can integrate deep business knowledge, excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills to drive optimal analytical / forecasting solutions for the bank. A successful candidate will work closely with various global Treasury / business stakeholders to understand business intents, translate into clear requirements / user stories, communicate business scope & methodology to project teams, and ensure that final deliverables are fit-for-purpose and generate concrete business benefits.

  • Reach out to key global Treasury / business stakeholders to understand business intents / pain points, synthesize information to articulate business methodology and intended business benefits.
  • Translate business problem statement into user stories, investigate and propose detailed business logic and methodologies (e.g. product scope, forecast model assumptions, FTP calculations, etc.)
  • Perform feasibility study / sanity checks to ensure that proposed analytics solution is fit-for-purpose, can generate intended business benefits, and feasible from a data / system standpoint.
  • Able to communicate effectively to senior management, working groups, and data / system engineers.
  • Provide stakeholders analytics training, and address ad-hoc inquiries as neededActively participate in Agile project squads, clearly communicate business requirements / methodology to data engineers, programmers, etc.
  • Perform UAT testing and detailed review of final solution, to ensure it delivers on the agreed business intents / methodology. Clearly articulate issues (if any) to managers / project squads for revision.
  • Pre-anticipate how project deliverables might impact BAU, and raise requests / issues during project phase to address those gaps / needs.
  • Ensure project deliverable is well-integrated into robust BAU processes. Provide support to BAU team as needed.
Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven experiences in Treasury / Liquidity from top-tier banks / consultancy firms.
  • Strong experiences in liquidity forecasting (e.g. LCR, NSFR) and financial data analytics.
  • Experiences identifying key gaps and business materiality given complex system / data landscape.
  • High proficiency in analytical tools (e.g. Excel, VBA / SQL / Dataiku).
  • Liquidity / balance sheet / RWA modelling skills are highly desirable.
  • Degree in Finance / Economics / quantitative fields. CFA / FRM designation is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholder groups and project squads.
  • Able to summarise details into overall recommendation (balance business vs. technical communication).
  • Strive optimal balance between quality of delivery and effort/time spent.
  • Continuous improvement mindset. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Self-starter and independent, ability to perform well with minimal supervision.
  • Project team experience is crucial (e.g. business requirement, UAT testing, validate results).
