Job Description 

Your field of responsibility

The desk’s main responsibilities are short term unsecured funding, nostro squaring, execution of intercompany funding and the hedging of associated risk. Until end of June 2023 the desk also submits USD LIBORs for Credit Suisse.

The role is fast paced and varied and would suit an individual who works well under pressure and within time constraints and someone who thrives as part of a close knit team with varied strengths.

Your skills and experience

Attention to detail is essential, along with accountability and integrity due to the regulated and responsible nature of the role.:

The role requires ongoing certification under the UK Senior Manager & Certification Regime. The qualified candidate brings the following

  • CD issuance and taking of wholesale interbank deposits
  • Short dated FX trading activity
  • Nostro squaring and management across G10 and EM currencies
  • HQLA management and optimization
  • Pricing and execution of intercompany funding
  • Responsibility for funding multiple entities
  • Risk management and hedging across multiple entities
  • Provision of market commentary to internal key partners
  • P&L responsibility
  • Responsibility for staying within Risk limits and flags across multiple entities
  • Daily cross regional and cross functional interaction
  • Occasional interaction with regulators and other external partners
  • LIBOR submission (key regulatory function)
