Page Personnel is partnering with a successful business who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a successful mobility supplier based in Romsey who have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They do require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and maintain purchase order status reports
  • File invoices once scanned
  • Reconcile monthly purchase ledger statements
  • Prepare weekly BACS submission
  • Make payments by BACS and cheque
  • Maintain and post payments side of cashbook
  • Maintain and post payments/charges on foreign currency accounts
  • Maintain and control Petty Cash
  • Deal with invoice queries promptly
  • Process credit card and cash expenses

Profile

To be successful for the Accounts Payable Clerk role, you must:

  • Good basic literacy and numeracy
  • Intermediate level Excel and Word
  • Basic level accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
  • Flexible approach

Job Offer

Salary £22,000 - £26,000
