Job description

Team profile:

The team spans Global Corporate Controllers (GCC) and Investment Management Finance providing BU and legal entity reporting and controllership in the UK and Ireland. It is part of the global Finance team principally located in New York, Baltimore, Boston, Budapest, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Regionally, the BU requires local specialist knowledge and a global Finance support team. Collaboration and communication across the various locations are critical to the overall function and success of the team.

We offer:

Work in the Finance department within a legal entity control (LEC) team in Dublin, Ireland.

A unique LEC role, combining statutory, regulatory and management reporting, supporting the Investment Management Business Unit (BU) in its operations across its EU head office and branch locations.

Exposure to a growing business with the recently completed acquisition of Eaton Vance.

You will:

  • Have responsibility for monthly and quarterly reporting, assist with production of audited financial statements and materials for Board, Audit Committee and Risk Committee meetings.
  • Assist in providing regulatory and commercial decision support, insight and analytics to Finance management and the BU.
  • Provide integrated controllership, collaborating across a range of BU and Support Services teams ensuring efficient resolution of control issues.
  • Collaborate extensively with functional areas across European HQ and branch locations to enhance the team’s control and oversight capabilities.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Professional experience in the financial services industry with a view to obtaining professional accounting qualifications.
  • A proactive and inquisitive approach with a desire to learn and improve reporting processes.
  • Excellent team working skills and an ability to communicate well across the organization.
  • High attention to detail and focus on client relationship management.
