Summary
The SC Finance Analyst is responsible for managing Supply Chain cost budgets, forecasts and commitments for business units while providing a regular review of the actual results against the targets. The role will require a close working relationship and regular communication with stakeholders across all the Hershey Plants and commercial finance teams in the respective countries.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
AEMEA Supply Chain Cost Management
- Support various financial planning process incl. Annual/Stretch/Strat Plan and Monthly Outlook.
- Manage Business Units's expectation on the supply chain cost variance and effectively communicate to the supply chain stakeholders to meet the ultimate business objective.
- Minimize inventory provision through timely coordination with Demand Planner on potential depletion plan
Margin Expansion
- Support supply chain margin expansion project performance monitoring process
- Driving margin expansion projects via close coordination with respective stakeholders across the region
- Identify and recommend costs improvement opportunities through details understanding of AEMEA supply chain spending
Financial Reporting
- Manage Malaysia plant manufacturing variances allocation to each country P&L
- Manage Global Commodity and Malaysia plant local PPV allocation to each country P&L
- Ensure accurate inventory provision allocation to each country P&L
- Prepare monthly SC business review presentation
Other Projects
- Support ad hoc project based financial analysis
- SCOS maintenance in SAP & PPV reconciliation
- Any ad hoc assignment
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- At least 5 years of financial planning/analysis experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in multi-national manufacturing environment.
- Good level of financial planning and analysis knowledge
- Good understanding of accounting flows and processes
- Proactive, organize and problem solving mindset.
- Knowledge in financial policies/control.
- SAP or equivalent ERP system exposure is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good business sense, committed and responsible in meeting deadline.
