Assistant Accounting Manager (Medical Device, MNC)

Client Details

Global medical device listed company in over hundreds of countries with over 5000+ employees. Well organized group with over 30 years history, needs a full function accountant leader to expand their business.

Description

• Responsible for daily accounting transactions and perform monthly close process to ensure the general ledger is well maintained and closed out in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Ensure all data presented comply with Taiwan GAAP and US GAAP
• Perform inter-co recharge and IHCO reconciliation
• Monthly inventory closing, sales, costing and reconcile with system
• Ensure or Calculate sales rebate including post & reverse
• Manage AP related matters, including vendor master data maintenance
• Review month end closing result, such as account details and balance reconciliation etc.
• Quarterly inventory slowing moving review, calculate the provision of inventory including consignment inventory.
• Monthly reconciliation uploads to blackline for 2nd level review
• Prepare US group Internal reporting according to US GAPP and group requirement and monthly hyperion reporting preparation.
• Local statutory reporting: Prepare monthly PRC statutory reports, Balance Sheet & Income Statement according to external audit requirement
• Review quarterly bad debt provision prepared by accountant
• Review quarterly consignment inventory MOH & report the results to management team
• Review Quarterly DSO & report the results to management team

Profile

• 3+ years working experience in big 4 or corporate accounting
• Leadership experience is preferred
• Solid full function accounting knowledge in such as AR, AP and general ledger
• Good in both spoken and written English
• SAP user is a plus
• Details, stable, responsibility and flexibility in working principle
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and self-directed
• Logical thinking, problem solving, and detail orientated
