Trust Operations – Market Data team, Advanced Operator, Associate 2
Who we are looking for
Trust asset management services is the core business in State Street Japan and Trust Operations department is providing the services to institutional investors as trustee. This position is an advanced operator role of the Trust Operations department, Fukuoka, Japan. This role is advanced level processor and handling both initiator and approver tasks on day-to-day business, and report to team manager. The candidate requires a minimum of 1-year experience in financial services, fund accounting and/or a back-office operations environment.

What you will be responsible for
As Associate 2 you will
- Carry out core and complex processing activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Ability to prepare and be able to audit assigned functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables;
- Answer and handle complex issues and queries and escalate as needed acting with a sense of urgency to meet required deliverables.
- Work closely with inter-departmental contacts in processing all necessary tasks to ensure risk mitigation.
- Coach and offer help to less experienced staff
- Identify risk issues, breaches and act in accordance with the 'risk' escalation chain and operating procedures.
- Be accountable for assigned tasks and deadline.
- Act and dress professionally, assist the manager to monitor the profession in the team.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 1 year experience in financial services, fund accounting and/or a back-office operations environment.
- Ability of effective communication in both English & Japanese, both verbally and in writing.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office
