Description:
The cloud computing platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) has provided a highly robust and scalable web services platform for years. The range of services offered with AWS is continuously expanding, and covers on-demand storage, compute and network capacity, as well as a growing list of application services.
This Sales Analyst will be primarily responsible for business partnering, decision support, financial modeling. This person will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various sales, legal, operations and partner teams to identify best practices across the network. The Sales Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Role Responsibilities
• Provide timely and insightful reporting of financial metrics and results
• Support financial review processes including monthly financial, quarterly and annual business reviews, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics
• Drive continual standardization and streamlining of planning and forecasting processes
• Develop tools to drive better understanding of team's performance and metric trends
• Work with data source providers to ensure that data is accurate, automated and timely available
• Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses to lead business improvement and cost reductions
• Building financial models, presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
• Developing scalable and efficient processes that support the operations
• Partnering across the GTT and WWPS organization to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
• Driving automation of reporting and analytics

Basic Qualifications:
Relevant finance work experience
Technical Excel skills and experience with financial system such as Oracle, Cognos, SQL data mining and business intelligence tools

Demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting and variance analysis
Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment
Attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business and or similar discipline
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Advanced Excel & business modeling skills
• The ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
• Ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners and influence
