Tax Accountant

Innovature Consulting is looking for a Tax Accountant to join our Accounting team to serve U.S clients.
The Tax Accountant is responsible for compiling financial data, preparing required tax returns, filings, and reports, and filing prepared returns and reports after review by the Accounting Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Processes

• Prepare monthly Sales and use tax filing for multiple states in the U.S. and provinces in Canada
• Prepare monthly U.S. gross tax receipts
• Coordinate with management for various outsourced federal, state and local income tax filings, extensions and quarterly payments.
• Prepare necessary data such as state apportionments
• Support resolution of states and local level tax questions and inquiries
• Assist with new tax account registration under the direction of Accounting manager
• Issue resale certificate to suppliers and accept resale certificate from clients as appropriate
• Complete Quarterly and Annual financial and services survey per the process
• Coordinate with CPA firm and management for international tax and statutory compliance requirements

Internal and External Audits

• Audit monthly transactional data for correct tax mapping, setup and research required compliance for new jurisdictions across various systems

Project Management

• Ad-hoc reports and carry out special projects and other duties as directed such as tax research

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics
• 1+ years of prior experience in tax accounting preferred
• 2+ years of prior work experience in finance/accounting field
• Some knowledge of US and international federal, state and local tax regulations preferred
• Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, SQL skills is a plus
• Good speaking and written communication skills in English

★Work location: Copac Square Building, 12 Ton Dan, Ward 13, District 4, HCMC
★ Working hours: 2 pm – 11 pm (Monday through Friday).
