Accounts Assistant

Urban Pubs & Bars are a profitable and expanding restaurant, pub and bar business based near Baker Street (London) who are looking for an ambitious accounts assistant to join our growing Team.

We are an award winning operator of 35 bars, pubs and restaurants based in London. The Company operates to a very high standard, and has a rigorous approach to the control of its operations, but has a small, friendly, entrepreneurial approach within the head office team and its sites.

This permanent role will incorporate purchase ledger invoice processing, supplier bank payments, cash book and bank reconciliations, together with an involvement in operational aspects of the business (e.g. sales mix reporting, stock control and variance analysis, wage cost analysis).

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate who must demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop their skill set. The position reports to the Finance Director.

Previous experience in an accounts role is essential (minimum 6 months), together with excellent communication skills. This is a superb opportunity for the right applicant to develop their skills and experience as the business expands.
