The opportunity

EY Hungary’s Risk Consulting practice is an integral part of our Consulting services business. The Consulting Services business is a fast-growing division within EY, a dynamic group focusing on providing high value, independent and trusted advice to clients.

Working in our Risk Consulting practice as a Senior, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of clients in order to provide them with valuable advice regarding their business risks and process improvement opportunities.

You will work within multi-disciplinary teams of different sizes and play a key role in ensuring high quality outputs and services to our clients. Besides delivering different risk-based consulting projects, you will take part in the business development of the practice.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach Junior Consultants and deliver risk-based advisory projects related to internal audit, internal control and risk management services to major local and international clients under the supervision of the engagement manager
  • Conduct internal audit activities, e.g. participate in annual risk assessment, develop annual internal audit plan, conduct internal audits
  • Understand complex business environments, solution designs, identify and rate risks
  • Facilitate client workshops, and present risk profiles
  • Develop business cases, plan and scope projects, manage stakeholders
  • Monitor and report delivery status, meeting delivery deadlines with the highest quality of materials
  • Develop relevant recommendations and solutions to transform risk management and mitigate areas of risk
  • Develop client relationships, grow networks and assist identifying, converting engagement opportunities

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 2-3 years relevant work experience (external or internal audit, risk management)
  • College or University Degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting
  • Fluent English & Hungarian
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Ideally you will also have:

  • Other professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIA) is an asset;
