Accountant - ACCA Qualified

Position: Accountant

A well-known Retail Company is looking for Accountant located at Karachi, Pakistan.

Requirements;

Responsible for managing the ledger, or compilation of all of a company's accounts.

Maintain an entire company's books and make numerous daily computations to update accounting records.

Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.

Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.

Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts. Verify and enter firms' transactions into ledger.

Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts

Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data Conducting internal audits such as cash audit, stock audit etc.

Examining financial records to check for accuracy Managing and training staff when necessary

Skills:

Strong analytical, organisational, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, management and supervisory skills. Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines. Hands on experience in Financial & accounting database system.

Eligibility:

Must be ACCA qualified. 5 year’s previous experience in Accounting & Finance. Must be resident of Karachi
