RSM Vietnam Transaction Advisory Services team supports the firms Private Equity and Strategic corporate clients as they execute their growth strategy through M&A activities, performing a range of services including buy-side due diligence, sell-side due diligence, and closing working capital projects.

The Senior works closely with other dedicated RSM deal professionals, and is responsible for preparing detailed financial analysis, helping to identify key items to communicate to our client through our report deliverable. Key analysis that the Senior / Supervisor will perform will include assessment of a Target company’s quality of earnings, normalized net working capital requirements and net debt.

Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in one or more services across a variety of prestigious clients in different industries.
  • Participates in client meetings and site visits while interacting with client to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis
  • Performs Financial Due Diligence for Clients to help evaluate their decisions, including:
    • Perform detailed financial and trend analysis using a range of different sources including Target co annual financial statements, monthly management accounts, trial balance data, operational KPIs, and management reporting packs
    • Prepare a summary of key findings identified from analysis and review performed, and clearly articulate conclusions for project team discussion
    • Collaborate with project team to highlight key matters to be communicated to the client
    • Create accurate, insightful schedules to be included in due diligence reports and client deliverables
    • Perform detailed review of schedules and analysis prepared by more junior staff
  • Develops more junior staff by providing candid, constructive feedback
  • Demonstrates flexibility to meet different project milestones
  • Gains exposure to a diverse range of industries, developing into a well-rounded business professional
  • Prepares proposals and engagement letters
  • Assist Manager in other works such as preparing the materials for training, design tools and templates, and other firm’s activities.

Qualifications and personal characteristics of successful candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, Auditing major is preferred) ACCA, CPA, CFA is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years working experience Audit or similar working experience is preferable Previous exposure to business environment and/or involvement in extracurricular activities will be appreciated
  • Good communication in English, both verbally and writing Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Strong analytical skills, good attention to detail A self-starter who can quickly develop an understanding of the target business, its industry and its key drivers
  • Confidence interacting with clients, target co management, and team members from all levels of the organization (Partners to Associates)
  • Will take pride in their work, with the ability to deliver a quality product within tight deadlines
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to different project-based scenarios
  • Ability to prioritize tasks assigned, to ensure the most important matters are addressed first
  • Friendly, versatile, willing to learn and has the ability to work under pressure and tight deadline is a MUST Willingness to travel.
