My client are a house hold name within the retail sector and have head quarters based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to work closely with their FD and run their Management Accounts, Budgets and Forecasts, Financial reporting and year end audit prep, whilst also assisting with ad hoc projects. This role offers a lot of exposure and progression, with the opportunity in the long run for you to manage and grow the team whilst also learning from your FD. Description
- Reporting directly to the Finance Director
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Calculation and posting of periodical GL Journals
- Income and expenditure analysis
- Intercompany postings and reconciliations
- Cost Centre controls
- Oversee and manage internal retail financial audits
- Calculation and posting of periodical GL Journals
- Preparation of monthly forecasting reports with variance analysis
- P&L analysis
- Year end audit preparation
Profile
- A Part Qualified or Finalist ACCA or CIMA
- Experience of Management Accounting
- Exposure to the Retail or FMCG sector is ideal, fast paced environment exposure
- A progressive team player
- Senior stakeholder exposure
- Self driven and results orientated
