CORPORATE ADVISORY ROLE - General practice background My client, a medium sized firm of Corporate Finance Advisors in Ireland, seek a qualified accountant with some post qualified experience in a general practice environment to join their Corporate Advisory team, due to an increase in demand for their services. The role will involve handling a variety of Corporate Advisory work including M&A, Finance raising, Due Diligence, Valuations as well as broader business advice such as strategic advice / preparing business plans / reviewing cashlow projects etc. The ideal candidate will currently be an experienced Senior / Assistant Manager or Manager in a medium sized firm. Exposure to some Corporate Finance / Advisory work would be ideal but somebody working in audit / accounting looking to get exposure to advisory work would also be considered. Commercial acumen and strong relationship mangement skills are essential. The Role: Management of corporate finance engagements including transaction structuring, valuations, M&A advisory, strategic advice, debt negotiations, financial modelling, due diligence, preparation of business plans. Providing strategic advice to clients Business development including preparing tenders and presenting to potential clients Management of WIP The Person: Honours Degree. ACA, ACCA professional qualification. 1+ years post qualification experience. Prior corporate finance experience in professional practice or industry would be ideal but people with audit and accounting experience who have gained soem advisory experience will be considered. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills. Strong level of proficiency in Word and PowerPoint. Commercially aware
