Pricing Manager - Systems

Your new company We are currently working with a leading global organization who are recruiting for a Strategic Pricing Manager to take on a senior role in their Galway based IT business. This is a commercial role within a dynamic international team. This job has become available after a number of internal promotions and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pricing Manager looking for a challenging strategy focused role. Your new role This role is responsible for driving the pricing strategy for the European business. You will be providing financial advise on country pricing viability and analysis on strategic pricing decisions for new and existing products. You will work cross functionally and internationally to evaluate pricing strategies based on numerous local factor and global business goals. You will work alongside, and make recommendations to, VPs to determine the best strategic options and optimization opportunities. What you'll need to succeed Minimum MBA/Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Marketing or related field 10+ years of experience in working in a cross functional positions, 3 of which must be in a pricing role. Certified Pricing Professional Certificate (CPP) advantageous but not essential Strong Project Management skills Knowledge of ERPs systems (Oracle), Finance Software and pricing tools essential Desired personal characteristics include: personable friendly disposition, positive attitude, influencing and buy-in skills, strong aptitude for numbers.
