12mth Maternity Cover Finance Manager

Maternity cover role for 12mths, supervising one member of staff and providing financial support for 2 business units. Looking for someone to start end of Sept, mid October.

Our client is a large engineering, construction and consulting business that has undergone a lot of growth over the last 24mths and plans to continue to do so with some very clever strategies.

Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Preparation of daily & fortnightly cash forecasts
• Preparation of quarterly forecasts & annual budgets
• Management of month end process for closing ledgers
• Manage payments on Bankline/cheques issues
• Manage cash book and credit control
• Produce monthly cost reports for QS department
• Process credit card payments and expenses
• Prepare Inter Company Reconciliations
• Prepare VAT reconciliations as part of Group return
• Year end accounts preparation & assist with tax computation

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Management Accounts exposure
• Staff supervision and mentoring
• Coins systems knowledge advantageous
• Construction, engineering business exposure is essential
