The Role :

• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements & balance sheet reports
• Be a part of a small to medium sized close knit chartered firm in the southern suburbs
• Attractive remuneration of $80 - 100k+ Super depending on experience
• Assist with various services within the business such as taxation, corporate advisory services, superfunds and audit

The client is experiencing business development and is looking to bring in a Senior Accountant as soon as possible to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an amazing opportunity for you to partner clients across diverse business lines to resolve tax related issues.

Responsibilities and qualifications include:

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification is required
• 3-5 years experience within a chartered environment is mandatory
• Preparation of corporate tax compliance matters, income tax returns for large conglomerates, tax effect accounting calculations
• Bank and tax reconciliations
• Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, etc.
• Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders professionally
• Keeping abreast of legislative updates related to tax and its impact on the business
• Excellent communication skills, strong team player with a proactive demeanor
