My client is a global FTSE 250 Business, they have a large finance team and due to an internal promotion they are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Manager.

Description

  • Manage a team of 8
  • Provide support and direction for team members to drive process excellence.
  • Disciplined used of business systems - AM Planners, Weekly Business Meetings, 1on1s, career framework discussions
  • Conduct career framework discussion with team Review and document all processes
  • Set goals and measure achievements of the goals.
  • Manage the delivery of several projects during the year, with the use of appropriate resources and team members, to streamline and continuously improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain internal control to minimise risk and protect business profits
  • Produce and enforce accurate and timely reporting to reduce aged items
  • Adhere to Balance Sheet Standards by reviewing month end reconciliations
  • Vendor queries and resolutions
  • Confirming targets - KPI's are met
  • Payment proposals, prelims and budget reports

    Previous experience with Management/ supervising
    Previous experience in Accounts Payable/ Purchase Ledger
