Quantitative Analyst - Contract (no work experience required) Global financial services company, with substantial Irish operations, is seeking a Quantitative Analyst in their Dublin office. Due to an increase in business the company need an additional numerate and analytical resource to augment their valuations team. This will be an initial 6 month contract which is most likely to run to at least 12 month. The Job: - Oversight & analysis of key controls - Support company wide key strategic initiatives - Support new product implementation - Run daily valuations and controls - Design and develop valuation related analytics - Benchmarking  of pricing against leading 3rd party pricing systems - Proactive development of pricing models - Ongoing projects to improve/streamline processes/systems - Team development The Candidate: - Graduate in mathematics, actuarial or other numerate discipline essential - Post grad qualification in a similar discipline is essential - No work experience required - Proven knowledge of derivatives - Experience of working with in-house Treasury systems - Strong communicator, both written and oral - Ability to work alone and in a team Please send your details in confidence to Alan Bluett at the enclosed address .
