Payroll & Systems Manager Dublin Profile OCS One Complete Solution is currently seeking applications for an experienced Payroll & Systems Manager. The successful candidate will manage a small Payroll Team in a fast paced environment. This is a newly created position within the company. The succesful candidate will not only manage the Payroll team they will drive continuous improvements for payroll processes, report detailed analysis on information gathered through forthnightly reports inluding identifying on over spending and forcasting for future budgets. The candidate will have strong problem solving and technical skills, possess solid communication and organisational skills, possess the ability to work with accuracy under pressure, to meet set deadlines. Core Duties Direct all aspects of payroll operations for fortnightly staff Create Weekly/Fortnightly Reports Analyse and interpret data to report to MD on over budgets and divsion breakdowns Manage a strong payroll team, to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of payroll processing Advance and maintain strong working relationship with operations managers to guarantee payroll delivery is accurate. Meet Payroll delivery deadlines Drive awareness of current practices in payroll processing and communicate effectively Development of continuous process improvement and design with the clear goal of delivering excellence in customer service Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent team building skills. Continuous improvement of the internal control framework relating to payroll in line with company policy and appropriate standards and regulations. Working with Finance team, ensure proper recording of payroll journal entries to the general ledger and reconcile payroll related balance sheet accounts. Manage and reconcile general ledger payroll-related accruals. Perform ad hoc projects. Requirements Payroll Management experience essential Relevant 3rd Level and/or recognised Payroll qualifications Essential. Strong knowledge of payroll-related tax and compliance requirements. Knowledge and experience with payroll accounting and taxes required. Knowledge of SAP payroll systems desirable. Knowledge of TimeGate systems desirable. Experience with Time gate preferable Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
