Your new role

At KPMG, our Financial Management Advisory Team work with our clients to enhance the operation of their finance functions and position their finance teams for lasting success.

Our government team works with federal and state government CFOs and their teams to -
  • Support their financial management processes
  • Deliver financial reporting
  • Assist with budgeting processes
  • Provide technical financial advice
  • Provide advice on cost optimisation
You bring to the role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) - e.g. Finance, Accounting and/or technology.
  • Experience in accounting within the public sector or advisory firms
  • Previous experience in the public sector
  • Highly developed Excel skills
  • Experience with government financial systems is desirable
  • Experience working in teams
  • Communication skills
  • Security clearance, or ability to obtain one
