Team Background
The APAC Sales MI Team exists within the broader Business Platform (BP) function as a part of JPMorgan Asset Management business. The team is responsible for oversight for the regional data warehouse, data analytics, project delivery and reporting services for internal management and institutional clients.
The Role - Internal Reporting & Broad data analytics
APAC Sales MI team is primarily responsible for broad management of Asia data, internal reporting and data analytics. We work closely with all aspects of the business, both front and back office functions.
This role will also be a key player in both global and regional projects. These projects will include but not be limited to; identifying areas for automation, efficiency, data mining, process reengineering, data analytics and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:
Source reporting data and commentary from various platforms and teams including client teams
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports for various stakeholders
Document reporting procedures and promote best practices
Resolution of data inquiries regarding all facets of data
Work with Technology to streamline reporting workflow and related projects
Support regional and global projects around client servicing, business platform and MIS
Degree holder, preferably in Business, Finance and/or related discipline or demonstrate a basic understanding of financial markets and investment products
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to maintain good internal relationships
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Highly accurate with attention to detail and analytical skills
Flexible time management during busy periods such as month end or quarter end
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Business Objects and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of SQL and Macros a plus
