Financial Accountant

A Leading Real Estate Investment firm with $6bn assets under management is looking for a Part-qualified/Finalist level Financial Accountant.

Client Details

The client is a dynamic, international, fully integrated property investment and management group with $6BN of assets under management. The UK group has four regulated real estate opportunity funds, which it also manages and advises. The funds contain a growing portfolio of properties in the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors in the UK.

Description

Financial Accounting

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts for several entities
• Preparation of schedules for audit and tax
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assistance with annual insurance policy renewals
• Assistance with periodic board reporting
• Maintenance of group registers and company secretarial
• Preparation of treasury reports
• Cash management

Management accounting

• Preparation of quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Management of income fee notes and profit share collection
• Monitoring costs, raising quarterly invoices for, and reconciliation of group recharges
• Supplier payments and creditor control
• Key control account and bank reconciliations
• Entering source documents on Sage

Portfolio accounting

• Liaison with external property manager and review of reporting
• Management of rent and service charge invoicing
• Monitoring and reconciliation of service charge cash flow
• Preparation of quarterly service charge reports and spend to budget analysis
• Preparation of quarterly lender reporting
• Assist with preparation of operating and capital expenditure budgets
