Description
- Drive continuous improvement in the timeliness and quality of insights produced and continually seek to lower cost of production
- Work with Business Leaders and others to ensure that the information produced is relevant and drives better business decision making
- Ensure the integrity of the financial and non-financial data produced by the Business Decision support team
- Preparation of monthly reporting packs for the Business Units to be used in monthly reviews and as required sub-unit level reports for the Unit leadership teams
- Partner with Business Leaders to explain financial developments and insights, being able to challenge actions taken and model financial consequences.
- Preparation of Divisional financial reports for input to Board pack including commentary and associated insights into drivers of costs.
- Preparation of additional Group wide analyses to support the Group Reporting packs - gain knowledge of all aspects of the wider business and organisation to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Additional ad-hoc analyses to support the Business units, including summarising of ledger information
- Devise and implement effective budgeting and forecasting processes which delivers required outputs on time, to a high standard, efficiently
- Preparation of and input to the forecast cycle - working with the Business Units to collect and translate business requirements into financial resources
- Prepare the financial forecast which support the multi-year strategy and operational plans for divisions supported
- Preparation and maintenance / ownership of underlying schedules of financial and non-financial information to underpin the financial forecasts
- Support the Group financial forecasts to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

- Commercially focused background
- Solid understanding of financial processes and controls
- Business skills: robust knowledge of cost and revenue drivers and business partnering
