A major retail company based in Manchester are searching for a diligent, dynamic and dedicated Finance Assistant to assist their thriving team.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the business through processing invoices and adjustments ensuring vendor accounts are updated with payments or charges on a timely and accurate basis into the SAP Accounts Payable (AP) system in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
Reporting to the Finance Manager, it is essential that the Finance Assistant has:
- Invoice Processing Experience
- SAP Knowledge
- Experience of working in an accounts payable or finance environment
The Finance Assistant will also have:
- Experience of demonstrating effective team working skills
- IT literacy; with experience of using word processing and spreadsheet packages
- Good knowledge of purchase-to-pay accounting principles, activities and processes
- Problem solving and query resolution skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication skills and good telephone manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy
