We are offering opportunities to ACCA students to intern in the Client Accounting Service Unit of SCG for a period of up to 6 months.
We are a 2nd tier firm in Accra, Ghana and classified by ICAG as an A firm. Check us out at www.scg.com.gh. We are building a business that is driven by technology, standardized processes, knowledge and applies business thinking in all areas of its operation.
The program will give the accounting students the opportunity to work and put to practice some of the concepts they are studying. At the end of the program, the intern will have:
• A practical appreciation of accounting.
• Use of accounting software and an appreciation of the role of IT in helping businesses streamline workflow and achieve efficiency.
• A basic knowledge of indirect taxes applicable to transactions.
• Access to a variety of professionals
• Work experience that improves prospects of getting a job

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• A first degree from a recognized University.
• Must be a student of ACCA and must have passed the Foundation level of ACCA
This position is suitable for ACCA students at the early or intermediate stage who want a period of concentrated experience to improve their job prospect. It is not suitable for ACCA graduates.
