About the role With Grant Thornton using Workday to ensure its HR data analytics and process improvement is at the leading edge we now have an opportunity for an individual who is motivated by change and how to successfully drive it within the firm. This role is focussed on continuously improving our processes with Workday to ensure HR delivers on the Grant Thornton people experience.  The role reports into the HRIS Leader and is a fantastic opportunity to develop and experience HRIS within a growing professional services firm. What you will be doing: Supporting the HRIS Leader by being the first point of contact for incoming Workday queries Maintaining Workday system through auditing analysis of data Seeking process improvements via Workday that will ensure the people experience in Grant Thornton is enhanced Assist with processing the monthly payroll including processing of joiners and leavers, benefits, bonus payments etc Respond to payroll related queries from employees and liaise with outsourced payroll provider Create and run reports that not only support the HR Advisors but give guidance to the relevant service line contacts Champion a culture of decision by data Support the wider HR team with key HR projects and other ad hoc duties as required. What you will be bringing third level qualification, preferably in HR or other related discipline; 1 - 2 years experience in a similar HRIS role with Workday experience being preferable excellent communication skills, both written and oral; demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team; excellent administration skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, Excel and Powerpoint); ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; high levels of professionalism and integrity; excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise; CIPD accreditation desired but not essential.
