Trainee Accountant (ACCA Training Contract) Client: VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Accountant support a busy accounts team situated within a fantastic professional services company based in Belfast City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accountancy graduate to step into their first Trainee Accountant role and our client will offer a fantastic training and benefits package for the right candidate. Weekly payroll processing Administration of sales, purchase and nominal ledgers including ledger reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Maintaining fixed asset register Assisting with budget preparation and variance reporting Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports Assist with the development and implementation of financial procedures VAT return reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts Prepare grant claims Aged debt reporting and analysis of contract management The Ideal Person: Achieved a 2:1 or above at degree level in an Accountancy related subject Ideally 1+ years experience in a finance position, with experience on sage or similar accounting software G.C.S.E.
