The Brisbane Broker Distribution team is now seeking lending professionals with proven loan processing and assessment skills. This temporary placement will offer you an immense opportunity to further develop your existing skills by verifying and assessing applications submitted by our Broker partners in preparation for final approval. Working with our Business Development Managers and key stakeholders, you will ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and accurate assessment of broker introduced mortgage lending in accordance with policy requirements. Other accountabilities include:Assessment of Credit applications; The ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data in relation to the mortgage process The ability to identify and resolve challenges as they arise or escalate appropriately The ability to retain key information outlined in the mortgage lending & mortgage insurance policy. To be considered for this opportunity you will enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, high volume mortgage processing environment, working autonomously and adhering to set KPI's & Service standards. Ideally you will have:A thorough understanding of lender and mortgage insurer policies A working knowledge of mortgage lending process and assessment strategies Experience in verification and interruption of documentation in accordance with policy Experience with complex credit policy including self employed income assessment, company income assessment, trust applications, family guarantee applications, build loans & bridging loans etc. High attention to detail in processing high volumes of applications Ability to make quick, informed and accurate decisions based on available information under pressure situations Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work towards timeframes ensuring favourable outcomes Superior customer service standards and confident communication skills to liaise with customers or their representative.
