Job Description

Who we are looking for:

Looking for professional who understand and manages the processes related to account openings for new clients, establishes accounts in new markets for existing clients, converts existing fund accounts into State Street's custody from other global custodians' custody, and oversees account opening amendments and closings.

Why this role is important to us:

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Corporation, deals directly with State street Client’s to process Accounts in various Markets. The Market opening Team monitors the progress of the account openings and actively communicate with our sub-custodians and our clients to ensure that the account opening process is completed in a timely manner.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Work with Client & Client service teams and Local sub-custodian banks to facilitate client account openings, closings, conversions, renewals and amendment requests.
  • Act as Technical resource for Client to open Markets
  • Interprets client needs and works to meet those needs
  • Negotiate with sub-custodian on the documentation
  • Participate in Market projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Performs review of team’s work
  • Assist in managing all client escalations
  • Resolve issues and prioritize actions in the absence of the managers.
  • Share responsibility with manager for accurate and timely processing for deliverables and for coaching and development of staff
  • Contributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideas
  • Understanding of global custody and/or international markets a plus
  • Assisting with assigning daily work and running our group email box.
  • Facilitates meetings with clients, sub-custodians and impacted SSB parties to ensure high levels of service are maintained
  • Ability to recognize and prioritize issues through daily updates, ensuring work is completed within established timeframes
  • Working closely with internal teams during the onboarding process confirming requirements and addressing their inquiries.
  • Assist in daily/weekly/monthly reporting.

Shift Timing: 7 pm to 4 am

Work Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • A college degree (Bachelors’ degree or equivalent).
  • Excellent communications skills with confidence to interact with multiple levels of management.
  • 3-5 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry preferably with Account Opening exposure

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

  • Microsoft Excel Knowledge
