Management Accountant

A recently acquired business with huge growth prospects is recruiting a newly created role for a Management Accountant in Liverpool.

Description

You will play an integral part of the accountancy team, supporting the Financial Controller in the following duties:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Variance analysis with commentaries
• Developing and implementing new controls and process
• Improving the reporting processes
• Playing an influential role in driving the finance function in all areas of improvement and growth

Profile

The successful applicant for the Management Accountant role must have the following skills/experience:

• CIMA/ACCA/AAT qualification
• Experience in management accounts
• Strong reporting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent communication
• Ideally have experience of, or passion of, developing controls and processes
• Desire to learn and play a hands on role, pivotal to the finance function as well as the wider business
