I am currently recruiting a Company Accountant for a natural resources group based in Belgravia, in London.
This client is based in Monaco, with main offices in London and Luxembourg. They are looking for an experienced company accountant to operate in a standalone fashion in the London office, but working closely alongside their counterparts from Monaco and Luxembourg.
As a result of this, the travel opportunities to these places are extensive.
Description
Company Accountant
- Provide support to the Head of Accounting
- Lead the month-end process for all UK entities (10) and some offshore entities (3):
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- AP / AR function including making payments
- Internal loan interest calculations
- Assisting with data uploads into consolidation system
- Liaise directly with the divisional and business unit finance teams
- Preparation of the interim and year end statutory accounts
- Assisting with administration of finance and tax matters
- Dealing with multiple currencies
- Liaising with auditors
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Offer
The successful candidate will be paid between £40,000 and £45,000 based on experience.
