Your journey with us

• Support and optimise the period-end closing process
• Report monthly financial performance to partner community (i.e. MT, CFO, Finance Partner, Service Partner)
• Completeness review of financials of charges/provisions by service line
• Analyse financial performance, and initiate improvement initiatives (e.g. price strategy, gross margin)
• Initiate and manage projects to optimise the efficiency and performance of the controlling and finance business process operations, including creation/updating of accounting policies
• Setup of accounting process to enable correct profit sharing: ensure correct, complete and timely recording of all charges, minimizing the risk of understatement of charges and hence minimizing risk of sharing too much profit.
• Creation of standard management reports
• Supporting the business partners with preparing ad hoc analyses
• Prepare T&L budget based on input from the Business Partners
• Chargeability analysis at employee level
• Project management

Key responsibilities

• Key stakeholders: CFO, Finance Director, Business Controller
• Focus on ensuring accurate historical financial data. Core responsibility is to monitor quality (i.e. accuracy, cut-off, and completeness) of financial reporting data, and to initiate optimisation initiatives especially in the area of internal controls, processes, policies and procedures.
• Making financial data transparent and easy accessible for management (e.g. create/maintain standard management reports towards Tax & Legal MT, CFO, Finance Partners, Engagement Partners, Project Managers, Business Controller).
• Data analytics. Recurring deep dive analyses on business KPI’s (e.g. chargeability at employee level, MOP) to identify ‘bad performers’, and initiate improvement initiatives.
• Translate business events into finance processes (e.g. allocation principles with respect to profit sharing deals, design and implement cost allocation processes)
• Act as connector between Finance Team Tax & Legal and DSI (in terms of driving accurate financial data)
• Coordinate and facilitate the recurring budget and forecast process for the separate service lines based on input from the business partner. Consolidate budget on BU-level.
