To support the substantial growth and increasing complexities, we are recruiting a Senior Finance Manager, Accounting to the organization.
We need a leader who will be empowered to take brave and innovative decisions to scale teams to growing business needs. This leader will work closely with the global financial systems team, accounting operations teams, tax, treasury, and others and represent the accounting organization to various stakeholders. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business finance and technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible.
This position supports and can directly influence the launches of some of Amazon's newest global business initiatives in the logistics business. You must have a passion for leading teams through process and solution change and be able to make highly effective decisions in sometimes ambiguous circumstances.
This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize.
Successful candidates will have deep experience across Accounting, Program Management and leading teams to deliver solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• People management, developing exceptional talent, and encouraging your team to challenge assumptions.
• Delivering functional projects on a cross-country level, such as implementing best accounting/ controllership practice to enhance and deepen the control environment.
• Communicate new/updated programs and processes to leaders, and cross functional organizations.
• Active partnering and collaboration with appropriate stakeholders in the wider finance, tax and the business for successful solutions and change implementation.
• Ability to influence and articulate accounting/ finance terminology and concepts to operations (the non-finance community).
• Leading current and future business portfolio launch initiatives and other geographical expansion projects.
• Evaluation of technical accounting considerations relating to new business activities.
• Leading and driving various meetings with senior management.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• 15+ years of relevant experience with CPA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent certification and knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in program or project management and delivering cross functional projects (tech and non-tech)
• 7+ years of experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management
• Experience of leading a team through complex and ambiguous situations and delivering through others
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• Fluent English required (verbal/written)
