The role focuses on performing Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR) of the IT General Controls (ITGCs) that are tested in compliance with various global regulatory reporting requirements across all Divisions/Functions at the Bank.

In addition to the QAR responsibilities, you will also support the Global SOX 404 ITC program team in the periodic reporting to various business partners including the SOX Steering Committee and the Audit Committee.

You will use your knowledge of IT General Controls design and operating effectiveness assessment in performing your QAR activities and supporting the SOX management reporting to the Division(s) through established periodic meetings with the IT Operational Risk Managers (ORM) and year-end reporting activities.

You join the SOX IT Compliance (ITC) Team within the Credit Suisse Group Finance Operational Risk and Compliance department, which is a key group with the Global SOX 404 Program team. This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for an applicant who possess equivalent work experience of at least 5+ years in assessing design and operating effectiveness of IT general Control domains including Access Controls, Program Change Controls and Computer Operations across a diverse set of computing environments including Windows, UNIX, and Mainframe

  • MIS or Computer Science Degree preferred
  • Experience in Banking/Financial services industry, and experienced in auditing IT General controls against regulatory requirements including SOX, CCAR, etc.
  • Proven analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, VBA, Tableau or Qlik
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential in order to establish an effective Quality Assurance Review
  • Excellent teammate/team leading skills, problem-solving skills
  • Time management – organizing and prioritizing work
  • CISA/CRISC/CISM certification a plus
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
