The Record to Report VAT Junior Analyst is responsible for performing a diverse set of work activities included in the end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) process.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Prepare accurately and timely the VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales Listings declarations, coupled with other official and statistical returns to the European Tax authorities or other regulatory/official bodies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales and purchases data and other relevant information from SAP, in order to produce complete and accurate declarations.
  • Identify, analyze, escalate and remediate material variances between VAT, Intrastat and ESL.
  • Work with local auditors and fiscal authorities to ensure all regulatory reporting queries are answered in a timely manner.
  • Identify, prioritise, escalate and resolve all issues surrounding VAT.
  • Prepare the   VAT accounts reconciliations, following the company accounting policies and agreed practices.
  • Maintain up to date with the VAT rate and other relevant changes for designated markets.
  • Ensure that the  key performance metrics on the  VAT process are met on a monthly basis and consistently  at  the  agreed targets (this within the limits of his/ her  control on the process)
  • Interact with and provide VAT support for the relevant local markets and Tax teams
  • Ensure the execution of tasks is aligned with S404 controls and Roupee requirements.

Required:

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience would be a plus
  • Language Skills:
  • English
  • Computer skills, including experience with system and Microsoft Office Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Independent problem solving, negotiation and decision making and time-management skills
